Yes it was. We all agree that no one should be above the law for who they are - but that's one side of the equation. The law is there to investigate crimes and find those accountable, and hold their feet to the hot fires of justice. It is not there to investigate people until they find something they can potentially hang them with - and then hang them with it. That is precisely what Letitia James did. She openly bragged about the fact she was going to do this - and was aided and abetted by a judge who not only was perfectly happy to expose his contempt and animus towards the defendant right from the outset, but also looks very much like the result of what happens when Nancy Pelosi successfully reproduces with a Skeksis.
You cannot let one side of the scales of justice sink in to a sewer of corruption, whilst simultaneously screech in peoples faces about the virtues of the other side. Precisely no one would have had any interest in pursuing this dubious legal technicality where nobody got hurt, if the defendant's name hadn't been Donald Trump.
That is the legal system pursuing someone for who they are.. it all is.. Who are we supposed to feel got justice here, when as someone else pointed out, the only victim in all this was Trump?
